Leipzig Marriott Hotel

Newly remodelled unit with 3 queen beds. Central location, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Madle- Passage.

Its location not too far away from Zoo Leipzig was favourable. The breakfast was lovely and great with good choice of excellent food on offer.

it's welcome base for visiting some must see attractions in leipzig. the hotel is set in a great location next to the best sights in leipzig, and restaurants in walking distance. the beer bar makes the fine drinks.

Location opposite the Railway Station with all the attractions of the old city centre within 15 minutes walking distance.

Many misunderstandings with the front desk. Charging wrong credit card etc. Many misunderstandings with the room service. Sometimes had to try again and try a third time to deliver what was ordered. No coffee/tea facilities in the room. We had to insist to get one(!) bathrobe, while access to the swimming pool is via the hotel lobby!

I would recomand the place. The location was magnificent, a 10-15 minute walk from Zoo Leipzig. Besides, it was just off shops and city centre, museums and the main train station.

The staff - some of them were pretty bad.

Close to the main station. Security is perfect. And nice breakast is served.

Air condition was little bit noisy.

The hotel is situated in a very convenient location, only a few minutes walk from the Central station and tram stops. Also it is right next to shops and restaurants and only within 15 minutes walking to all the city attractions.

The TV has very limited English channels, only 3 and all are news channels. Also it was strangely mean for a Marriott to provide only one tiny sliver of soap for my 7 nights stay in an executive room. When I requested for more soap, they sent someone up to give me one more!

Everything was wonderful. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to the train station (even with luggage - only about a 3 min walk). It's also only a short walk to many of the main attractions (plus all the streetcars go through the Hauptbahnhof). The hotel has free bicycles to borrow! The breakfast is a huge spread of both hot and cold foods, worth the money.

It charges for internet, which is getting less common as more hotels bundle it with the room. However, it was a fairly reasonable rate (about 12 Euros/day, you can buy up to several days at a time).

I think they must improve the breakfeast. It was good but not excelent as I would expect for the price. The bread was from the day before which is unaceptable because Germany has one of the best breads in Europe!!! They must put more options available and improve quality indeed!

The pool area was great for family fun.

Check-in involved a long wait due to staff shortages.

The location is great. Walking distance from the main train station and to all the sights. Free internet access in the lobby and also at the Starbuck's across the street. Best place I stayed in Germany.
